excess of 10
years.
During his
career in
Texas,
Louisiana,
Arkansas and
Oklahoma, he
gained
extensive
knowledge of
all areas of
the industry
including
Leasing
Agent,
Curative
Title
Landman,
Managing
Drill Site
Run sheets,
Production
Sharing
Agreements
and, as Crew
Chief and
Broker.
Bowden has
been
responsible
for
administrative
management
for a crew
of up to
fifty
landmen.
During 2008,
Mr. Bowden
developed
lesson plans
and taught
Landman 101
and Landman
102 classes
at Panola
College in
Shelby
County,
Texas. His
expertise in
the industry
and ability
to teach
provided
over 80 new
Landmen the
competence
and
knowledgeto
become
ethical and
productive
Landmen. He
has also
assisted in
developing a
curriculum
relating to
the Oil and
Gas Lease
for AAPL
educational
seminars and
certification
reviews.
Mr. Bowden
holds a
Bachelors of
Business
Management
Degree from
LeTourneau
University
and an
Associates
Degree in
Criminal
Justice from
Tyler Junior
College.
Bowden was
previously
the City
Manager for
the City of
Rusk,
Texas. Bowden
has owned
and operated
several
lucrative
businesses
in the East
Texas Area.
Bowden
continues
his
education
with the
AAPL
(American
Association
of
Professional
Landmen)
and holds a
CPL
(Certified
Professional
Landman)
Certification.Currently
he serves on
the
Certification
Committee
for AAPL. He
also has an
Easement or
Right-of-Way
Agent's
Certificate
of
Registration
under The
Texas Real
Estate
Commission..
He is an
active member
of the
professional
landman
